The productive vocabulary of multimodal and unimodal English as a Foreign Language learners

This study investigated the productive vocabulary of EFL learners divided into two groups: multimodal (preference for or three perceptual learning styles) and unimodal one style). The objectives this research were twofold: (1) to identify learners; (2) ascertain whether there statistically significant differences between preferences (multimodality unimodality). sample consisted 60 Spanish (24 36 unimodal) in 12th grade. data collection instruments Learning Style Survey (Cohen et al., 2009) divide informants learners, 2,000-word version Productive Vocabulary Levels Test (Laufer & Nation, 1995, 1999) measure their vocabulary.
